YOUR ENGINEERING CHALLENGE. OUR COMPUTATIONAL EXPERTISE.

Calculations and measurements with an engineering purpose

KOMES brings together engineers working with numerical simulation, experimental measurements and technical interpretation. We help teams define the problem, select an appropriate method and use the results to support a design or operating decision.

Our areas of work

Structural FEA addresses strength, deformation, stability, dynamics and fatigue. CFD supports the investigation of fluid flow and heat transfer. Vibration and strain measurements provide information about the response of real machinery, buildings and structures.

These methods can be used individually or together. Measurements help check modelling assumptions, while simulation can help interpret a recorded response and compare proposed modifications.

How we define a project

We start with the intended use of the report, available inputs and constraints. The proposal identifies the scope, deliverables and responsibilities. Reports distinguish input data, assumptions, results and recommendations.

Engineering software and support

We also supply and support CAE software. Tell us what you analyse, the tools you already use and the outputs required so that we can discuss an appropriate configuration and support scope.

Confidentiality and documented scope

Confidential project documentation can be reviewed after an NDA is agreed. Accreditation, certification and reference standards are applied to the specific scope they cover and confirmed for the relevant task.
